Paired Hearts Ltd. Co. was started by Beth Albrecht after she moved to Austin, Texas and couldn't find a job that she actually wanted to do. Beth started Paired Hearts with the idea that whatever products she made, they should be well designed, make people smile, and be as "green" as possible.

All of the paper used is recycled and many of the fabrics and trims were collected by Beth at her previous jobs in the fashion industry. Beth's background includes a BA in Studio Art from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design. She worked as an associate designer at BCBG and as the graphics, prints and toys designer for Babystyle (see pic), but left all that behind to travel the world for the 2006/2007 year with her husband. They traveled to over 30 countries and volunteered in South America, Northern India, and West Africa. Returning from the trip the couple moved to Austin and thus Paired Hearts was born. Currently Beth enjoys walking the dogs, playing soccer, and designing and manufacturing new products for Paired Hearts.
